Venue: LRH auditorium.  Seminar in PC Peshawar, Health Minister as Chief Guest. PTP, PCS, Anti TB Association and Other Partners.  Seminar in PGMI auditorium LRH  Talk / Question Answer session on Radio Pakistan and PTV. World Asthma Day 3rd May 2011. PCS and PPCRG Pamphlets and public awareness material regarding “Asthma” was distributed at health Facilities. Joint Press release to Print Media. Seminar at PGMI LRH auditorium. A powerpoint presentation compitition by PG trainees of different specialities Topics on different aspects of asthma were allotted to the volunteers on a random draw. A penal of 5 judges from different specialities, 18 trainees made their presentations. Prizes were awarded to the best 3 and all others were also given prizez as token of appreciation. This activity was very well attented and very much appeciated by all, being first of its kind. The other acivity in this week was a Talk on "Asthma and Pregnancy" and "Asthma and Surgery" by Dr Ziaullah, AP Pulmonology and GS of PCS KPK to the Gynae/Obs and surgical departments of the hospital.
